Chung attending the Everything Everywhere All At Once premiere in Los Angeles, 2022.

Tony Chung's multifaceted artistic expression spans across the realms of cinema, fashion, and music, solidifying his place as a dynamic force within the entertainment industry.

Born in Texas, Chung grew up between the Lone Star State and the Golden State, where he led multiple bands in high school and even sold his own album at a school performance. But his talents extended beyond music, as he went on to study Electrical Engineering in college on a full-ride scholarship and worked as an enterprise services engineer at Cisco Systems for two years during his studies.

However, Chung's true passion lay in the arts, and he soon pursued a career as a singer/songwriter in Asia, where he released two albums, one solo and another with a band, both now available on Spotify and Apple Music. He toured extensively throughout Asia, including a one-week stint in Beijing and all over Taiwan. But Chung's multi-faceted talents didn't stop there, as he was scouted for modeling in 2011 while visiting New York City. His first gig was a cover shoot for Vogue Italia by the critically acclaimed Steven Meisel alongside Brazilian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann. Chung has since appeared in global campaigns for major brands such as Remy Martin, Uniqlo, and Samsung.

Chung's striking features also caught the attention of the video game industry, where he was selected as the face model for fan-favorite Sub-Zero in Netherrealm's Mortal Kombat 11. MK11 has sold over 15 million copies worldwide since its release in 2019. Chung's language skills have also proven to be an asset in his diverse career, as he is fluent in Mandarin and moderately conversational in Spanish and German. But it was his role as a series regular for three seasons on the hit CW show, Kung Fu, a reboot of the 1972 series featuring David Carradine, that truly launched Chung's career in Hollywood.

Tony’s success in multiple fields is a testament to the power of embracing one's passions and pursuing them with equal fervor.
